Job Title: Volunteer Event Coordinator
Reports to: Activities Director and Volunteer Service Director

Summary:
Volunteer Event Coordinator is responsible for assisting in expediting an individual HOA
event. The VEC will work with the Activities Director to organize, manage and coordinate all
segments of that event to assure that the result is successful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Attend planning meetings and assist in the implementation of the event
* Follow-up with vendors/entertainers to determine that all items/equipment ordered will
arrive as requested
* Work with Maintenance Engineer to verify all of the event requirements
* Communicate effectively with all staff involved regarding requirements for the event
* Understand homeowner registration and payment processes
*Remain available via cell phone at all times during the event in case of change
* Remain in the building until the event is completed and assist in closing and securing the
building
* Assist the Activities Director or other on site staff as requested during the event
* Be willing to be trained and satisfactorily operate the following:
o All stage equipment
o Lighting for the Ballroom and stage
o AV equipment
o Building utilities
o Building fire alarm system
o Door locks
o Keys for all rooms and equipment
